We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Restaurant Manager to lead our team and drive operational success.
Job Summary:
The restaurant manager will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure the company meets its financial goals. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and excellent problem-solving skills. Candidates with bilingual proficiency are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure exceptional service standards, guest satisfaction, FOH operations, training, and guest engagement
Lead onboarding, develop + deliver training materials, provide ongoing coaching, ensure service standards are up to par
Act as maรฎtre d', engage with guests, manage reservations and seating flow, handle service recovery
Create + manage scheduling, hire needed talent, document disciplinary issues, foster culture of accountability and respect
Curate + update wine list, lead staff wine education/tastings, maintain distributor/industry relationships
Oversee FOH inventory, maintain manager's log, complete EOD reports, refine systems, report compensations
Plan, coordinate, and execute events/private dining, set FOH sales goals and KPIs, improve revenue strategies
Use SOPs for training, apply them in FOH operations, and work with operations manager to develop updates.
Apply menu updates and monitor performance (best sellers, low performers)
Communicate daily with staff, guests, and ownership through logs and EOD reports. Attend weekly meetings with management and ownership
Oversee FOH supply needs and communicate with ops manager on what we need to order
Report FOH maintenance issues to Ops, and assist as needed
Be visible during service, lead by example, identify improvement opportunities, communicate with ownership.
Oversee daily business operations and ensure efficiency.
Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to achieve performance targets.
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Improve customer satisfaction and maintain high service standards.
Identify market trends and opportunities to enhance business success.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors, clients, and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or in a similar leadership role.
- Strong business acumen with a track record of driving results.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud.
Bilingual skills are an advantage to this role
