Our culinary team is seeking a skilled Sous Chef to lead our kitchen operations. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the creation of exceptional dining experiences and drive business growth.
Job Description:Menu Creation and Execution
- Develop and implement menus that showcase our brand's commitment to quality and creativity.
- Work closely with the executive chef and partners to ensure menu items meet company standards.
Leadership and Team Management
- Hire, onboard, and manage kitchen staff, providing training and development opportunities.
- Maintain a positive and productive team environment, promoting open communication and collaboration.
Cost Control and Kitchen Maintenance
- Oversee kitchen operations to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
- Implement cost-saving initiatives and monitor expenses to achieve budget goals.
Scheduling and Communication
- Manage scheduling for kitchen staff, ensuring adequate coverage and minimizing overtime.
- Communicate effectively with the management team and other departments to coordinate events and promotions.
- Minimum 5 years of industry experience, including 2 years of management experience.
- Exceptional culinary skills, with a passion for creating delicious food.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
- Knowledge of scheduling, costing, and financials, with the ability to teach these skills to others.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong problem-solving and adaptability skills.
