We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead our kitchen operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing daily back-of-house kitchen activities, inspiring team members, and upholding quality and safety standards.
The Role
As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and inventory control. You will also maintain a clean, safe, and compliant kitchen environment, monitor food quality, and train, coach, and motivate kitchen team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective standard operating procedures to optimize kitchen efficiency and organization
- Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to relevant regulations
- Monitor and improve food quality, presentation, and consistency
- Conduct regular inventory audits and manage supply chain logistics
- Collaborate with leadership to achieve business goals and objectives
- Train, develop, and motivate kitchen team members to deliver high-quality results
Requirements and Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role or as a Shift Lead
- Proven track record of achieving key performance indicators and driving business results
- Strong leadership skills and ability to inspire and motivate team members
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen operations, including food safety, sanitation, and cost control
