Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. This is a contract delivery driver paid for every delivery and paid weekly The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining excellent customer service. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and professionalism to meet the demands of our growing business.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate delivery vehicles to transport freight and goods to designated locations
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations
- Maintain proper documentation of deliveries, including delivery receipts and logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules or issueOperate
Skills
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Basic automotive repair knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and delivery processes
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Ability to handle physical tasks such as lifting heavy freight and operating heavy machinery safely
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $50.00 per day
