About

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC) Technical Lead to spearhead cryptographic modernization across the enterprise. This role will focus on developing strategies to transition from classical to post-quantum cryptographic solutions and strengthening system resilience against quantum-era threats. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in traditional cryptography, knowledge of PQC algorithms, and hands-on experience executing enterprise-wide crypto transformation initiatives.

As the PQC Tech Lead, you will collaborate with engineering, security, and product teams to design, implement, and guide the adoption of PQC solutions across applications, databases, PKI systems, and cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and rollout of post-quantum cryptography strategies.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise in classical cryptography (RSA, ECC, AES, SHA, etc.).
  • Build a cryptographic bill of materials (CBOM) and conduct crypto-inventory & risk mapping.
  • Evaluate NIST-recommended PQC algorithms and hybrid cryptographic models.
  • Develop and execute crypto migration roadmaps for enterprise environments.
  • Integrate PQC into applications, databases, PKI systems, and cloud platforms.
  • Track PQC advancements, emerging risks, and evolving NIST standards.
  • Mentor junior engineers and guide technical decision-making across teams.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and cryptographic frameworks.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Cryptography, Information Security, or related field.
  • 10+ years in security architecture or cryptography roles.
  • Strong knowledge of PKI, TLS, key management, secure communication protocols, and data protection suites.
  • Understanding of PQC models and hands-on cryptographic modernization experience.
  • Experience building CBOMs and performing cryptographic risk assessments.
  • Background designing & executing classical-to-PQC migration strategies.
  • Knowledge of NIST, ISO, GDPR, FIPS 140-3 or similar compliance frameworks.
  • Proven leadership ability with stakeholder and cross-team influence.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience implementing hybrid cryptography in production environments.
  • Contributions to cryptographic research, standards, or open-source security projects.
  • Familiarity with cryptography toolkits (OpenSSL, Bouncy Castle, WolfSSL, etc.).
  • Knowledge of cloud-native security tools (AWS KMS, Azure Key Vault, Google KMS).
