Job Summary:

As an LCV Driver at Andy Transport, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of long combination vehicles (LCVs), including turnpike doubles and other extended configurations. This role is ideal for professional drivers who take pride in precision, safety, and long-haul expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate LCVs in accordance with provincial and federal regulations
  • Ensure timely and safe delivery of freight across long-distance routes
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
  • Complete all required documentation accurately (logs, inspection reports, etc.)
  • Hook and unhook trailers safely and efficiently
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams
  • Adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
  • Report any incidents, breakdowns, or delays promptly

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1/AZ driver's license
  • Valid LCV certification (as per provincial requirements)
  • Minimum 5 years of verifiable experience with tractor-trailers; LCV experience preferred
  • Clean driver's abstract and CVOR
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
  • Strong knowledge of HOS and ELD usage
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Availability for extended runs and overnight trips
