Front Cashier

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team. The candidate must have 2 year experience in Cashier. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service, handle transactions accurately, and contribute to a positive shopping experience. This role offers an opportunity to develop strong communication and sales skills in a dynamic retail environment. Bilingual abilities and experience with technology sales or product demos are considered valuable assets. The Cashier position involves managing POS systems, cash handling, and upselling products to enhance customer satisfaction and store revenue.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with their purchases
• Operate POS systems efficiently to process transactions accurately
• Handle cash, credit, and digital payments with precision
• Provide product information and conduct product demos when necessary
• Upsell items and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities
• Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure the checkout area is clean and inviting
• Communicate effectively with customers, addressing questions and resolving issues promptly
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to minimize wait times
• Follow phone etiquette standards when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries
• Support inventory management through basic stock replenishment and organization

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills is essential
• Bilingual skills (English plus another language) are highly desirable for serving diverse customer bases
• Strong communication skills, organizational abilities, and time management are critical for success in this role
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technology tools and retail processes
