We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Dentist to join our vibrant dental team. *Duties*
* Perform thorough patient assessments, including dental examinations and medical history reviews, to develop personalized treatment plans.
* Deliver a wide range of general dentistry services such as fillings, crowns, bridges, prosthodontics, root canal therapy, dental extractions, and oral surgery procedures.
* Utilize advanced dental imaging techniques and adhere to aseptic techniques to ensure accurate diagnoses and infection control.
* Apply comprehensive knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
* Conduct patient education on oral health maintenance, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to promote long-term oral wellness.
* Maintain detailed medical documentation and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and medical records management.
* Collaborate with the dental team using four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency and patient comfort during procedures.
* Use dental office management software such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix, or similar platforms for scheduling, charting, billing, and record-keeping.
* Stay current with industry best practices in infection control, medical imaging, endodontics, prosthodontics, and other specialties relevant to general dentistry.
*Requirements*
* Valid state license to practice dentistry with current credentials in good standing.
* Proven experience working in a busy dental clinic or dental office environment.
* Proficiency in using dental software systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix or comparable platforms.
* Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control protocols.
* Demonstrated expertise in performing dental extractions, root canal therapy, prosthodontics procedures, and oral surgery.
* Ability to communicate complex treatment options clearly to patients of diverse backgrounds.
* Commitment to patient care excellence with attention to detail in medical documentation and records management.
* Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and adherence to confidentiality standards at all times.
* Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus but not required; however, familiarity with pediatrics is beneficial for treating younger patients effectively.
