Fish Counter Specialist

At our store, we are dedicated to providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming environment for all customers. As a team member in our seafood department, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers receive the best shopping experience.

• Ensure a fresh display of products by checking quality, maintaining clean cases, rotating stock, filling ice tables, and performing other tasks as needed.
• Maintain accurate signage and pricing throughout the store.
• Keep back stock organized and easily accessible for efficient restocking.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment at all times.
• Assist with sampling and keep sample areas visually appealing.
• Clean equipment and facilities as needed to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Prepare and cook fish, box it, label, and date cooked fish for sale.
• Participate in periodic inventory checks to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Arrive on time, groomed, dressed, and ready to work at the start of each shift.
• Provide excellent customer service and model suggestive selling techniques to maximize sales.
• Follow established procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product to ensure optimal presentation and freshness.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace and equipment at all times.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned by management.
• Report any safety hazards or violations immediately to management.
