Food Preparation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Food Preparation Specialist to join our team. As a member of our Prepared Foods team, you will be responsible for preparing, serving, and stocking a variety of hot and cold foods.

• Cutting, preparing, and serving meats, cheeses, sandwiches, burritos, wraps, salads, and pizza
• Sampling products to customers
• Stocking hot and cold cases and displays with prepared foods from the kitchen, walk-in preparation, and refrigerators
• Checking in-stock product dates to ensure freshness and rotating when necessary
• Bailing and consolidating recyclables
• Assisting Team Leader in organizing and displaying volume and seasonal items
• Completing spoilage, sampling, temperature, and sweep worksheets as required
• Assisting with periodic inventory checks

As a Food Preparation Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in food preparation and customer service.

You will be expected to provide excellent customer service, address the needs of customers in a timely and effective manner, and model suggestive selling techniques. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment.
