About

The Executive Pastry Chef plays a pivotal role in driving the success of our pastry and bakery operations across multiple locations. This position combines hands-on execution with strategic oversight, encompassing recipe development, staff training, inventory management, and adherence to health and safety standards.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintain impeccable personal hygiene and cleanliness throughout work shifts.
  • Prepare food and products according to established recipes and serving standards.
  • Develop and implement innovative pastry and bakery menu items, including daily and seasonal specials.
  • Collaborate with management to design new menu offerings.
  • Document all recipes and techniques for future reference.
  • Ensure that pastry items consistently meet quality standards.
  • Oversee daily purchasing to maintain optimal food quality.
  • Verify deliveries of pastry products to ensure compliance with company guidelines.
  • Implement policies, procedures, and training programs to enhance team performance.
  • Supervise and promote teamwork to achieve high levels of food quality, facility maintenance, sanitation, and cleanliness.
  • Achieve sales, cost, and profit objectives through effective planning and execution.
  • Meet company goals in food quality, facility maintenance, sanitation, and cleanliness.
  • Participate in regular meetings to represent the pastry department.
  • Ensure kitchen equipment and facilities are maintained to meet health and safety standards.
  • Optimize labor costs through efficient scheduling and adjustments based on sales trends.
  • Comply with federal, state, county, and municipal regulations.
  • Mentor staff in the pastry department for career advancement and growth opportunities.
About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • Proven experience as an Executive Pastry Chef or similar position.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
