Bistro Romano, an upscale Italian restaurant & wine shoppe situated in an 18th century granary in the Society Hill neighborhood for 38 years, is seeking an assistant general manager (AGM) to join the management team.  Bistro Romano is guest focused and is centered on providing exceptional cuisine and service to exceed the expectations of our guests.

Essential Experience Requirements:

• 2+ years in an AGM/manager role in upscale dining and service
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Skilled knowledge of wine and craft cocktails, hospitality management software and payroll processing
• PLCB ordering and receiving
• Ability to apply critical thinking real time to assure guest satisfaction
• Ability to maintain and train steps of service standards
• Hands-on, jump in management style, lead by example
• Work clean and safe following all City of Phila Health Department regulations
• Foster a positive work environment for Team BR leading with mutual respect
