Chef de Cuisine Opportunity
Are you a passionate and dedicated culinary leader looking to shape the next chapter of our kitchen? We are seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to oversee all kitchen operations, lead and develop our culinary team, and work closely with ownership to maintain and elevate our guest experience.
This is a full-time, hands-on leadership position requiring 50–60 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in restaurant kitchen management, proven ability to control food and labor costs without compromising quality, strong menu development skills, particularly with seasonal and ingredient-driven cuisine.
Lead day-to-day back-of-house operations with professionalism, efficiency, and respect
Manage, coach, and develop kitchen staff with a focus on teamwork, consistency, and long-term growth
Develop and execute seasonal menus, specials, and new dishes that reflect creativity and high quality
Maintain rigorous standards for food safety, quality, and consistency
Monitor and control both food and labor costs to meet financial targets
Oversee ordering, inventory, prep systems, and scheduling
Identify and solve problems proactively and calmly
Contribute to a positive, collaborative restaurant culture
Required Skills and Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in restaurant kitchen management (Chef de Cuisine, Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef, etc.)
Proven ability to control food and labor costs without compromising quality
Strong menu development skills, particularly with seasonal and ingredient-driven cuisine
Demonstrated ability to run a kitchen efficiently while treating staff with respect
Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building strengths
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to maintaining and modeling a healthy, positive kitchen culture
