• Hiring Phase: We initiate our hiring process, including resume screening and interviews, to select the best candidates.
• Training Phase: A two-week training program is scheduled for mid-September, focusing on Monday-to-Friday sessions.
• Pre-Opening: During this phase, we offer Friends & Family services during regular dinner hours.
• Grand Opening: The grand opening party will take place on Friday 10/3, marking the beginning of our regular service hours.

As Server Assistants, you will be dynamic hospitality professionals responsible for maintaining cleanliness and providing exceptional support to servers throughout the dining area.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve a wide range of espresso-based and brewed coffee beverages using commercial-grade equipment.
• Operate, clean, and maintain espresso machines, grinders, brewers, and other barista tools according to health and safety standards.
• Monitor stock levels for coffee, milk, syrups, and barista supplies and inform management when restocking is necessary.
• Adhere to all recipes and presentation guidelines to ensure consistency in every beverage served.
• Support beverage preparation and drink running duties in collaboration with the bar team and assigned server.
• Maintain a clean and organized barista station, including wiping down surfaces and replenishing supplies as needed.
• Assist with quality control checks on all coffee-related items leaving the barista station.
• Complete any additional barista-related side work as assigned during setup and breakdown.
• Complete all assigned side work related to setup and breakdown of the coffee and tea station, dish pit area, dining room, and service hutch.
• Provide welcoming greetings and farewells to all customers.
• Offer exceptional service and hospitality to every guest.
• Greet tables with beverage lists, explain offerings, and provide the beverage menu format. Offer bottled or filtered water selections and communicate with the section server.
• Mark tables with correct utensils after taking orders. Inform customers about delivered food items.
• Run drinks from the bar to assigned customers by table and position number.
• Clear dirty dishes and glassware from tables elegantly and efficiently.
• Collaborate with servers to consistently deliver a high-quality experience for customers.
• Communicate essential table information to the assigned server, including special occasions or customer dissatisfaction.
• Verify food delivery accuracy and check customer needs.
• Assist customers with boxing up food and other support as required.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of coffee stations, water stations, refrigerators, and dining areas.
• Assist with dish and glassware disposal as necessary.
• Provide water, tea, and coffee service to customers throughout the night.
• Adhere to safety and health standards set forth by local authorities.
• Maintain service tools, including trays, silverware, plate ware, glassware, scissors, and tongs.
• Train new employees as assigned.
• Assist other restaurant areas when requested by management.
