Seafood Department Associate

We are currently seeking a skilled team member to join our seafood department. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a fresh and appealing display, ensuring high standards of quality, cleanliness, and organization throughout the store.

• Maintain accurate signage and pricing within the department.
• Keep back stock in good order at all times.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and well-organized working and shopping environment.
• Assist with sampling programs, keeping sample areas full, clean, and visually appealing.
• Clean cases, glass, signs, uprights, coolers, smokers, floors, and drains as required.
• Prepare and cook fish; box up, label, and date cooked fish according to established procedures.
• Assist with periodic inventory checks to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and a passion for providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be able to learn basic knowledge of all products carried in the department, and possess visual examination skills for quality and freshness. Basic math skills and attention to detail are also essential for this position.

The successful candidate will be motivated by a passion for natural foods and a desire to contribute to a positive work environment. Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and effective time management skills are necessary to meet the demands of this role.
