Lead Culinary Visionary
- Develop seasonal menus centered on locally sourced ingredients, optimizing their use and guiding a team to ensure exceptional quality and efficiency.
- Mentor junior staff, foster relationships with team members and external partners, and prioritize creativity and productivity.
The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping culinary experiences that not only meet but exceed expectations.
- Drive the creation of menus inspired by local farm-raised ingredients, leveraging their unique qualities to create memorable dining experiences.
- Lead a high-performing kitchen team, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless execution and a commitment to excellence.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience in high-volume kitchens with a focus on efficiency, quality control, and menu innovation.
- Ability to train and mentor junior staff, promoting growth and development within the team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build lasting relationships with colleagues, suppliers, and customers.
Additional responsibilities include collaborating with the management team to drive strategic decisions and contributing to a positive work environment through active listening and empathy. A valid driver's license is required for occasional travel to supplier meetings or workshops.
