We are seeking a committed Dining Room Manager to join our team and lead in cultivating a hardworking, family environment. In this role, you will oversee dinner services, ensuring the highest standards for food, beverages, and service in a high-volume environment (200-250 covers).
The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with a passion for culinary excellence and customer service. We are looking for an energetic individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure excellent service is provided for all guests at all times.
- Drive service standards for Front of House positions and provide continuous support to all service staff as needed.
- Work with Front and Back of House management to engage and educate all staff.
- Ensure excellent maintenance and cleanliness of the dining room at all times.
- Maintain effective systems of communication between all members of the restaurant staff.
- Recruitment, training, and scheduling of Front of House staff.
- Ensure the restaurant is staffed effectively to execute all service standards.
- Ensure all proper operating standards are met and demonstrate leadership surrounding food safety and labor compliance.
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- At least 2 years' in fine dining or 2 years experience in a comparable AGM or Floor Manager role in a less formal restaurant (a mix of fine dining and high volume experience is encouraged)
- Full availability - nights, weekends, holidays (5 days a week).
- Ability to foster the education of FOH staff.
- Ensure DOL and Department of Health compliance.
- Food, wine, and spirits knowledge.
- Ability to multitask, problem-solving & delegate.
- Attention to detail.
