The Role

As the Bakery Retail Store Manager, you will set the tone for our guest experience and team culture, ensuring that operations run smoothly, hospitality feels genuine, products are showcased beautifully, and our values of sustainability, generosity, and customer satisfaction are reflected in every detail.

  • You will be responsible for leading by example, coaching staff, maintaining a welcoming atmosphere, and fostering a positive, professional culture where expectations are clear and follow-through is consistent.
Main Responsibilities
  • CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE & LEADERSHIP
    • Lead your team in providing exceptional customer service, reflecting our values, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
    • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.
  • TEAM MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT
    • Build and maintain a high-performing team through effective communication, ongoing feedback, recognition, and development opportunities.
    • Conduct regular check-ins with staff to support growth and alignment with company goals.
  • OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
    • Ensure efficient systems and daily routines are executed reliably, minimizing waste and maximizing productivity.
    • Oversee inventory management, forecasting, and ordering to meet sales and waste-reduction goals.
  • FINANCIAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE TASKS
    • Manage cash handling, daily reporting, and financial tasks with accuracy and integrity.
    • Use technology effectively to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
  • Proven leadership experience in hospitality management and food & beverage industries.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stay calm under pressure.
  • Physical stamina to stand for 8 hours and lift 50+ pounds.
  • DOH certification required.
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays.
