Position Overview:

The Host Services Manager provides leadership at the restaurant and retail-level. Under the direction of FOH management, the manager directs and supports the host team members to ensure that the host stand presents the culture and values of our organization, creating a positive, respectful, and professional work environment for all employees.

Responsibilities:

• Direct and support the host team members to ensure excellent guest service.
• Monitor the guest experience at the table during service to provide active feedback.
• Understand all aspects of our company's ethos on customer service and continuously observe, evaluate, and correct as necessary all aspects of the guest experience.
• Answer phone calls and emails regarding reservations, service, etc prior to service.
• Maintain strict adherence to proper food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Actively manage housekeeping systems and opening and closing checklists.

Requirements:

• Three (3) years of experience in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of global food, spirits, and wine.
• Strong background in reservation platforms, phone customer service, and restaurant host skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship building skills.
• High-level organizational skills with multi-tasking capabilities.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to work 8-hour plus shifts.
• Able to stand, sit or walk for extended periods of time.
• Able to grasp, lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. as needed.
