**Lead Culinary Team Member**
As a seasoned chef, you will spearhead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. By merging innovative recipes with impeccable service standards, you will shape the essence of our restaurant's identity.
- Regularly inspect the kitchen to ensure adherence to quality and sanitation standards.
- Recruit, train, develop, and evaluate staff effectively, taking corrective action as necessary.
- Create menus and recipe specifications based on consumer preferences, nutritional needs, product requirements, ease of preparation, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the back of house and assume a role on the line or expo as needed.
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness, adhering to established protocols.
- Submit detailed reports on service, sales, labor, and liquor costs, highlighting areas for improvement.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Possession of a degree from a reputable culinary arts institution is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in kitchen management.
- Proven ability to create menus, write recipes, and coach/training teams.
