Job Overview

This role oversees the Prepared Foods department, driving excellence in team management and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional leadership skills, a strong focus on quality and safety, and the ability to motivate team members to achieve exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervises and delegates tasks to Prepared Foods Team Members ensuring effective workflow and productivity.
  • Collaborates with the Prepared Foods Trainer to develop and implement training programs that foster high-performance teams and minimize turnover.
  • Provides guidance and support for new team members, utilizing learning checklists and training materials.
  • Maintains a clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated environment.
  • Ensures seamless department operations by following established procedures for opening and closing.
  • Monitors team member breaks and ensures all necessary breaks are given.
  • Communicates team concerns to leadership, promoting a culture of open communication.
  • Sets and achieves exceptional standards of retail execution.
  • Fosters an environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and excellent morale.
  • Employs situational awareness to direct team members as needed to satisfy and delight customers; responds promptly to customer needs and questions.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • In-depth knowledge of Prepared Foods team procedures and policies.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management expertise.
  • Superb interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
  • Able to effectively teach others in a positive and constructive manner.
  • Product knowledge and understanding.
  • Advanced knowledge of regulatory and safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Proficient mathematical skills for assessing financial performance, monitoring profitability, and managing inventory.
  • Demonstrated decision-making ability, leadership skills, and ability to prioritize and delegate effectively.
