Operations Manager

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Team Leader Associate to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for assisting the Team Leader in all aspects of daily operations, including profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop Team Members. You will work closely with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, while maintaining a positive company image by providing courteous, friendly, and efficient service to customers and Team Members at all times.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong organizational and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

• Develops and maintains creative store layout and product merchandising , working closely with the Team Leader to ensure a visually appealing and customer-friendly shopping experience.
• Works with the Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets , using data analysis and market research to inform decision-making.
• Assists the Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports, and labor , identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Demonstrates advanced product knowledge and develops/maintains awareness of new products, staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments.
• Maintains good vendor relationships, develops new vendor relations, and ensures all paperwork is properly submitted for vendor processing.
• Works with the Team Leader to resolve team concerns or issues , promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
• Functions as point person and departmental person in charge in absence of Team Leader, ensuring seamless continuity of operations.
• Sets and achieves the highest standards of retail execution, consistently delivering exceptional results and exceeding expectations.
• Fosters and encourages a positive environment of outstanding teamwork, mutual respect, and exceptional morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and needs, directing Team Members as necessary to satisfy and delight customers; responds promptly to customer needs and questions.
• Selects, trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members in a manner that sustains a high-performance team and minimizes turnover.
• Provides timely, thorough, and thoughtful performance evaluations, helping Team Members grow and develop in their roles.
• Consistently communicates and models WFM vision and goals, inspiring others to do the same.
