Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive food service management experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing staff, ensuring food quality and safety standards, and maintaining smooth restaurant operations to create a welcoming and efficient dining experience for guests.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant activities, including food preparation, service, and cleanliness.
  • Manage staff scheduling, training, and development to ensure high performance and team cohesion.
  • Oversee food safety protocols, inventory control, and proper food handling procedures to meet health standards.
  • Utilize POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing, cash handling, and sales reporting.
  • Monitor restaurant operations during shifts to ensure quality service, customer satisfaction, and adherence to company policies.
  • Assist in managing budgets, controlling costs, and optimizing operational efficiency.
  • Lead by example in providing excellent customer service and resolving guest concerns promptly.
  • Coordinate with kitchen management to ensure timely food production and quality control.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in hiring processes for new team members.
  • Support catering, banquet events, or bar services as needed to enhance overall guest experience.

Qualifications

  • Proven management experience within the food industry, particularly in quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining settings.
  • Extensive knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards.
  • Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
  • Strong leadership skills with a background in staff training, supervision, and team management.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle high-pressure situations gracefully.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, budgeting, and food management practices.
  • Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel/restaurant environments is preferred.
  • Culinary experience or fine dining background is a plus.
  • Ability to manage shift operations efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
