Job description

Looking for part time (potentially leading to full time) Kitchen assistant/cooks to join our family run, fast paced sushi restaurant in Chilliwack.

We are not seeking LMIA/Sponsorship Candidates.

Individuals with open work permits or student visas is fine.

Part-time: Varies, long term part time, or potentially leading to Full time

Schedule

• Half day shifts (closing/opening)
• Day shift / afternoon-evening shift
• Shifts with breaks
• Holidays
• Weekend availability

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations during food handling
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service

Experience

• Previous experience in the restaurant or food service industry is preferred
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
• Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.85 per hour
