Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial and
industrial electrical projects from start to finish. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on
independence, leadership, and accountability. You won't just be following direction — we're looking
for someone who can come in, take charge, and help guide our operations toward greater efficiency,
consistency, and success.
Key Responsibilities
• Plan, coordinate, and manage electrical projects to ensure timely, on-budget delivery and high quality workmanship.
• Oversee all phases of project execution — from estimating and scheduling to field coordination
and close-out.
• Collaborate closely with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain strong
communication and alignment.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to field staff and apprentices.
• Implement and refine project management systems and best practices to improve efficiency
and consistency.
• Manage budgets, change orders, and cost tracking; ensure accuracy and profitability.
• Review drawings, specifications, and scope of work to ensure clarity and compliance.
• Identify and address risks, challenges, or scope changes proactively.
• Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings to ensure safety, quality, and productivity
standards are met.
Requirements
• Proven experience managing electrical construction projects (commercial or industrial).
• Strong understanding of electrical systems, drawings, and installations.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and make informed decisions that drive the company forward.
• Proficiency in project management tools and documentation (MS Project, Excel, or similar).
• Strong communication and client relations skills.
• Valid driver's license.
• PMP or equivalent certification is an asset but not required.
