MCG Careers is currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our team in our Red Deer office as a Job Developer.
Key Qualifications & Responsibilities
What You'll Bring:
· Experience or strong interest in relationship-building with employers, community partners, and clients
· Comfort engaging with new employers through outreach, networking, and friendly cold calls
· Ability to support clients through career planning, job search guidance, and case management
· Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
· Ability to collaborate with team members and community stakeholders
· Computer proficiency and willingness to learn new systems (Mobius/TRF experience is an asset)
· Training or education in career development, human services, business, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
· Understanding of the local labour market and current hiring trends
· Experience or interest in social media outreach, event coordination, and promoting programs
· Valid Class 5 driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
What You'll Do:
· Build meaningful employer relationships to create job opportunities for clients
· Support clients through individualized employment plans, coaching, and job search strategies
· Match clients to suitable employment based on strengths, goals, and employer needs
· Connect regularly with employers to monitor progress, gather feedback, and celebrate success
· Represent the program at community events, job fairs, and networking functions
· Collaborate with the team to identify labour market trends and support program growth
· Help create a positive, energetic, client-centered environment
