Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Child Care Director to lead and oversee our early childhood education programs. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for working with children, and a deep understanding of early childhood development. As Child Care Director, you will be responsible for managing daily operations, ensuring compliance with licensing standards, and fostering a nurturing environment that promotes learning and growth for children of diverse backgrounds and needs. Responsibilities
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum and activities that support early childhood development.
- Supervise and support teaching staff, providing ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all state licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and organizational policies.
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, staff, and community partners to promote a welcoming environment.
- Oversee daily operations including enrollment, record keeping, budgeting, and resource management.
- Coordinate with staff to accommodate children with disabilities or special needs, ensuring inclusive practices.
- Conduct regular assessments of program quality and implement improvements as needed.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and engaging environment conducive to learning and caregiving.
Experience
- Prior classroom experience in early childhood education or related fields is required.
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated teaching ability with young children across various developmental stages.
- Proven leadership skills in managing teams of caregivers or educators in a childcare or educational setting.
- Background in caregiving roles that involve nurturing, supervision, and developmental support for children.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $27.00-$32.00 per hour
