Ultrasound Technologist- Per Diem/Registry
Posit i on H i gh li ghts:
- Position: Ultrasound Technologist
- Location: Highland Park Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Registry
- Hours: As needed, Saturdays
- Call: 4-6 calls per month/ as needed
- Required Travel: Local- Glenbrook, Vernon Hills, Gurnee
What you will do :
- Perform ultrasound exam
- Prepare patients for exam: obtains and records history, explains procedure, positions patients and ensures their comfort
- Interprets ultrasound
- Cleans and maintains equipment
- Schedules patients if necessary
What you will need :
- License: N/A
- Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience
- Certification: CPR-BLS required. Completion of formal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required. Registry eligible required; prefer Registered Ultra sonographer
