About
Our extraordinary, progressive dental team is seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Registered Dental Hygienist to provide maternity leave coverage between July 1st-October 15th. We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, dependable, eager to learn, and committed to exceptional patient care. Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset are essential.

*Duties*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Utilize dental terminology effectively to communicate with patients and staff regarding treatment plans.
* Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system, including medical coding as necessary.
* Maintain infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
* Collaborate with the dentist and other team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
* Stay updated on HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality and comply with all healthcare laws.
*Requirements*
* Valid dental hygiene license in the state of Washington.
* Proficiency in using Eaglesoft or similar dental software systems is preferred, but not required.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology and infection control practices.
* Experience in general dentistry is essential; experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus.
* Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and education.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with industry standards.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
