About
Responsibilities
Support revenue growth and client retention across an assigned geographic region by ensuring a positive client experience throughout the sales cycle.
Train clients in the use of our content and platform, ensuring their data and application needs are met and they receive maximum value, increasing the likelihood of future subscription renewals.
Expand the use of our feed solutions within the original buying department and across the company, gathering intelligence and communicating internally to identify revenue retention and growth opportunities.
Provide feedback on existing products and participate in the development of new products, suggesting applications that enhance the usefulness and value of S&P GMI products.
Develop information sources on clients, competitors and prospects, and follow call program standards.
Serve as the primary region contact for S&P GMI and clients, obtaining and organizing information about applications, content needs and technical environments, developing client contacts, assessing potential for additional sales, and keeping records of installation and support activities.
Act as a primary regional information source for clients about what S&P GMI offers and how it might fit their needs, working with Sales to help qualify and understand prospective clients.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business from an accredited institution.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent communication, training and analytical skills; finance knowledge and/or experience (equities and/or fixed income).
Familiarity with cloud services, relational databases and programming languages.
Excellent training facilitation skills and ability to conduct effective client presentations.
Ability and willingness to travel.
Preferred Qualifications
CFA designation or progress toward completion.
Experience with financial data platforms such as Compustat, Capital IQ, SNL, IHS, Trucost, ClariFI, or similar industry‑leading data and solutions.
Proficiency in database query languages like SQL or programming languages such as Python, R, or similar analytical tools.
Fluency in European languages, with particular value placed on French or German language skills.
