We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Advanced Practice Clinician (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join our Endocrinology team. The APC will work collaboratively with the endocrinology clinicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, adrenal and pituitary conditions, and metabolic disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments, physical exams, and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Manage chronic endocrine conditions, including medication management, lifestyle counseling, and follow-up care.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests, imaging studies, and other diagnostic procedures.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising endocrinologist.
  • Provide patient education on disease management, medication adherence, and preventive care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Support continuity of care through coordination with primary care and specialty providers.
Qualifications:
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Delaware or able to obtain.
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
  • Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical experience in endocrinology or internal medicine preferred.
  • DEA registration and prescriptive authority.
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous learning.
Competencies Skills:
  • Experience managing insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring systems.
  • Familiarity with endocrine-specific EMR templates and workflows.
Credentials:
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in Delaware or able to obtain.
  • National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA).
