*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about providing exceptional patient care and have a strong foundation in dental hygiene practices. This role involves working closely with patients to ensure their oral health needs are met while maintaining a welcoming and professional environment. The Dental Hygienist will play a crucial role in educating patients about oral hygiene and preventive care. We are offering a very flexible schedule! Must be able to work two days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and/or Friday).
*Responsibilities*
* Perform thorough dental cleanings and assessments for patients of all ages, including pediatric patients.
* Conduct patient assessments, including taking vital signs and gathering medical history.
* Utilize dental/medical terminology and imaging systems to document patient information accurately.
* Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
* Assist in the development of individualized patient care plans based on assessment findings.
* Collaborate with dentists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.
*Requirements*
* Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist.
* Strong knowledge of general dentistry practices, pediatric dentistry, and patient care protocols.
* Familiarity with dental/medical terminology, vital signs, and medical imaging techniques.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented environment.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
* Experience with electronic health record systems is preferred but not required.

Pay: $40.00 - $43.00 per hour
