The Medicare Sales Manager plays a crucial role in fulfilling our commitment to our members. This position emphasizes innovative leadership, supports agent development, and drives growth across all distribution channels for our Medicare products. Key Responsibilities: Develop a successful team to enhance growth and market presence by: Providing continuous educational support to agents on product information, sales techniques, systems, and processes at UnitedHealthcare. Coaching agents on performance and guiding them through effective strategies to achieve success. Ensuring high compliance standards to maintain member satisfaction and retention. Collaborating with agents to design impactful business and marketing plans that reflect our brand ideals. Building and nurturing agency partnerships for optimal market penetration and lead utilization. Facilitate Execution Plans by: Steering strategic management efforts to drive market-level growth. Connecting with community organizations for seamless agent execution of events and meetings. Tracking sales activities through our Field Leadership Portal to guide performance and enhancements. Networking with professional organizations to create new opportunities for referrals and partnerships. Utilizing market insights to position UnitedHealthcare as the preferred choice. Allocating resources effectively to maximize growth and profitability. Communicate Effectively and Manage Conflict by: Collaborating with team members to achieve shared goals. Promoting a respectful and inclusive environment to enhance team performance. Keeping the team informed and involved in relevant information and decisions. Exhibit Achievement Drive by: Meeting or exceeding established performance standards promptly. Maintaining attention to detail in tracking necessary components and data. Required Qualifications: A state life/health insurance license is required. If not currently licensed, you must be willing to obtain one within 60 days of hiring. 2+ years of experience in sales, territory management, business development, or related fields. Proficient use of technology, including computers, mobile devices, social media, and software applications. Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. Valid driver's license and clean driving record. Access to a reliable and insured vehicle. Willingness to travel up to 50% within the local Seattle market area. Reside in or near Seattle, WA. Preferred Qualifications: Active state health insurance license. Experience managing or leading a team. Experience in selling Medicare or health insurance products. Proficient in delivering presentations to senior leaders. Familiarity with social media platforms like Instagram and Facebook. Bilingual abilities. A proven track record of exceeding sales goals and expectations.
