Position Highlights:
- Position: Practice Manager I
- Location: Buffalo Grove and Mundelein, IL
- Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
- Hours: Monday-Friday, during normal business hours
- Required Travel: travel between Buffalo Grove and Mundelein will be required
What you will do:
- Overseeing the daily operations of medical practices, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
- Recruiting, training, and supervising practice staff, including medical assistants, administrative personnel, and support staff.
- Managing the practice's financial aspects, including budgeting, billing, and revenue cycle management, to ensure financial goals are met.
- Coordinating patient appointment scheduling, optimizing patient flow and ensuring timely car
- Handling patient inquiries and concerns, addressing issues and maintaining a high standard of patient satisfaction.
- Implementing and monitoring quality assurance and compliance measures, ensuring adherence to healthcare regulations and best practices.
- Developing and implementing strategies to enhance practice performance, patient access, and growth opportunities.
- Ensuring the effective use of electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technology for efficient patient care and record-keeping.
- Managing inventory levels and supplies within the practice, ensuring they are adequately stocked and well-maintained.
- Preparing and presenting reports on practice performance, including financial, operational, and patient care metrics.
What you will need:
- Education: Bachelor's degree strongly preferred. Master's degree in business or a healthcare related discipline preferred
- Certification: n/a
- Experience:
- Minimum of three years of healthcare management experience
- Managed in a physician lead office (physician management)
- Financial management, operations management, and Electronic Medical Record experience preferred
- Unique or Preferred Skills: Demonstrated ability to build alliances, drive results and manage change
