About the Role Collaborate with business stakeholders and product owner to define and document business & user requirements – through shadowing associates, interviews, working sessions, follow-ups. Use process mapping to inform. Translate business needs into detailed user stories and establish clear acceptance criteria. Support the grooming & prioritization of user stories to ensure alignment with business goals & end-user needs.
Job Title: ServiceNow Business Analyst
Key Responsibilities Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, and requirement-gathering sessions to capture business needs and process gaps. Analyze existing access approval processes and validation workflows, and document current-state (AS-IS) and future-state (TO-BE) process flows. Work closely with the ServiceNow Architect to translate business requirements into ServiceNow capabilities, workflows, and functional specifications. Develop functional requirements documents (FRD), use cases, wireframes, workflow diagrams, and feature documentation. Define KPIs, performance metrics, risk controls, audit requirements, and reporting needs. Assist in data mapping requirements, dependency identification, and integration specifications. Prepare UAT test scripts, test plans, and coordinate end-user validation cycles, including obtaining formal sign-offs. Support change management activities including process communication, training material review, and readiness activities. Validate process alignment with ITIL best practices, compliance standards, and identity governance policies. Act as a liaison between technical teams and business units to ensure successful platform adoption. Participate in ongoing enhancement reviews, platform releases, and improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience 5-7+ years of hands-on experience as a Business Analyst / Process Consultant on ServiceNow implementations. Strong understanding of ITIL processes, Access Management, and Identity Governance frameworks. Experience in documenting workflows, functional specifications, process maps, and user stories. Proven facilitation skills in stakeholder workshops and requirement-definition sessions. Knowledge of ServiceNow modules such as ITSM, Request Catalog, Approvals, CMDB, IAM / UAR processes preferred. Experience working with Agile delivery methodology.
Location: Remote
Salary and Other Compensation: The annual [salary/hourly rate] for this position is between [$110,000 – 111,000 annually]/[$55-$57 per hour].
