As we expand, we're looking for a strong supervisor who can help us maintain quality, train new cleaners, and build long-term operational standards.
Overview
As a Cleaning Supervisor at The Nestly Co., you will play a key role in elevating our service quality and shaping the training standards of our growing team. This role is ideal for someone who has strong hands-on cleaning expertise, a passion for teaching others, and the ability to maintain high-quality results across all types of cleanings. You will lead on-site teams during deep cleans and move-in/move-out projects, train new cleaners using our structured SOPs, ensure quality checks are met, and step in when coverage is needed. Beyond on-site leadership, you will collaborate with other team members to refine cleaning methods, improve workflow efficiency, test new products/tools, and uphold Nestly's premium client experience. This is a leadership role with real ownership, perfect for a reliable, detail-oriented professional who wants to grow with a brand focused on excellence, consistency, and care.
Duties
- Lead and support cleaners during deep cleans, move-in/move-out, post-renovation, and office cleaning jobs to ensure high-quality results
- Train new cleaners using Nestly Co.'s cleaning standards, checklists, tools, and workflow techniques
- Conduct hands-on training sessions for all new hires, including demonstrations of proper techniques, speed cleaning, sequencing, and quality checks
- Perform full cleaning tasks alongside the team when required . Complete on-site job inspections before and after each clean to ensure standards are met.
- Identify areas needing improvement and coach cleaners on technique, efficiency, and attention to detail.
- Ensure cleaners follow safety procedures, proper chemical usage, and equipment handling and Assist with scheduling adjustments when cleaners cancel or are late; provide coverage if necessary.
- Provide regular feedback and recommendations on improving workflow.
- Communicate professionally with clients on-site when needed, addressing concerns and ensuring satisfaction
- Report damages, incidents, or performance issues to management in a timely manner
- Help evaluate cleaners during trial shifts and provide input on hiring decisions
Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential cleaning experience.
- Strong ability to train and mentor cleaners in technique, speed, sequencing, and professionalism
- High attention to detail with a strong commitment to quality and customer satisfaction
- Ability to lead a small team during job sites and ensure efficiency and consistency
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to job sites across GTA/Peel/York region
- Professional, respectful attitude with leadership qualities
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable personal vehicle (required)
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $22.50-$24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
