We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Pharmacy Manager to oversee daily pharmacy operations within a healthcare facility. Duties
- Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Oversee medication dispensing processes, ensuring accuracy and safety in accordance with medical guidelines.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimize medication therapy plans, including medication administration and patient care strategies.
- Maintain compliance with federal and state pharmacy regulations, including documentation and record-keeping requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels, order supplies, and manage medication storage to prevent shortages or wastage.
- Provide training and continuing education opportunities for pharmacy staff on topics such as medical terminology, medication administration, and hospital protocols.
- Participate in hospital committees related to patient safety, medication management, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards.
Skills
- Proven experience in hospital or acute care pharmacy settings, with a strong understanding of inpatient medication management.
- Expertise in pediatrics and patient care within a hospital environment.
- Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to hospital practice.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills to coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to handle complex medication regimens and ensure accurate medication administration.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems and inventory management tools.

Pay: $45.87-$51.00 per hour
