Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lead Carpenter to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various construction and restoration techniques, demonstrating expertise in areas such as carpentry and general maintenance person tasks.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can effectively manage projects, guide team members, and ensure high-quality workmanship in all aspects of residential construction. Your resume must show proof that you have been in this type of roll in the past.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a crew with the confidence to make on the spot decisions.
  • Oversee and coordinate construction projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to timelines and quality standards.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings to execute project plans accurately.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools safely while instructing team members on proper usage.
  • Collaborate with team members on construction estimating to maintain project budgets.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to all safety protocols.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in construction or restoration roles with a strong emphasis on carpentry and masonry skills is a must.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
  • Must show proof on your resume of leading a team in a project.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Excellent English communication skills for effective team collaboration and project management.
  • A valid driver's license is necessary for transportation to job sites.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$31.00 per hour
