About
*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide home-based therapy services to children with a variety of speech and language disorders. The ideal candidate will work with pediatric patients in the comfort of their homes, helping them develop essential communication skills to support their academic, social, and emotional development.
*Key Responsibilities*:
* Conduct speech and language assessments for children of all ages, including those with developmental delays, autism spectrum disorder, speech disorders, and other communication impairments.
* Develop individualized treatment plans and goals tailored to each child’s needs and family situation.
* Provide therapy sessions in-home, using evidence-based techniques to improve speech, language, and communication skills.
* Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other healthcare providers to ensure a holistic approach to care.
* Educate and guide families on how to reinforce therapy techniques at home.
* Track patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations.
* Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other specialists, such as occupational therapists, physical therapists, and educators.
* Maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all aspects of patient care.
*Qualifications*:
* Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
* State licensure in Speech-Language Pathology in Montana.
* ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) certification is preferred.
* Experience working with pediatric patients, particularly in a home health or clinical setting.
* Knowledge of pediatric speech and language development, speech disorders, and evidence-based therapy techniques.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to engage effectively with children and families.
* Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to travel to patients’ homes.
