IT LONESTAR is growing, and we're looking for a skilled WordPress & Web Hosting Specialist to join our team. We support local businesses across Houston and Austin, providing high-quality IT, cloud, and digital services — and we need someone who can help us deliver powerful, reliable websites and hosting solutions.

What you will do:

As part of our technical team, you will:

• Build, manage, and optimize WordPress websites (themes, plugins, performance, security).
• Configure and troubleshoot cPanel, Plesk, VPS hosting, Linux servers, and Cloudflare.
• Manage DNS records, domain configurations, and migrations.
• Resolve hosting, SSL, email routing, and performance issues.
• Work with clients to implement updates, improvements, and security best practices.
• Assist in website deployments, backups, staging environments, and optimizations.
• Collaborate with IT LONESTAR's cloud and network teams to support client infrastructure.

Required Skill:

We're looking for candidates with strong knowledge of:

• WordPress (advanced) – themes, plugins, builders, security, and performance
• Web hosting environments – cPanel, Plesk, Linux, VPS
• DNS management – records, propagation, Cloudflare, troubleshooting
• Understanding of domains, SSL, email authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)
• Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Located in Houston or Austin (hybrid/local availability preferred)

Nice to have:

• Experience with Elementor, Oxygen, WP Rocket, and security plugins
• Basic PHP, CSS, or JS knowledge
• Experience with server migrations or multi-site deployments
• Familiarity with AWS, DigitalOcean, or other cloud providers
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Compensation:

• $55,000 – $75,000 annual salary
• Bonuses available based on performance
