Marketing Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is ideal for individuals looking to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of marketing, including copywriting, content creation, and analytics. The Marketing Assistant will support the development and execution of marketing strategies to enhance brand awareness and drive engagement across multiple channels. This position is an in-person full-time position working in our Atlanta, Georgia office.

Responsibilities

• Assist in creating compelling copy for print advertising, email campaigns, and digital content.
• Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitive insights.
• Support budgeting efforts by tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to allocated budgets.
• Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to develop and execute marketing strategies and initiatives.
• Develop and implement marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
• Utilize WordPress to update and maintain website content for an optimal user experience.
• Assist with the creation of marketing proposals, presentations, and reports.
• Analyze marketing data and performance metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and recommend improvements.
• Coordinate and support promotional events, trade shows, business expos, and company activities.
• Maintain organized records of marketing activities, schedules, and campaign results.
• Manage and monitor the company's social media platforms and online presence.
• Measure client satisfaction with products and services and assist in developing improvement strategies.
• Process sales transactions as needed.
• Provide general support to the Sales team and Operations Assistants.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 12 months of previous experience in marketing.
• High School Diploma/GED
• Strong writing skills with a focus on copywriting for various formats.
• Familiarity with print advertising concepts and best practices.
• Basic understanding of budgeting processes related to marketing projects.
• Experience or coursework in market research methodologies.
• Proficiency in analytics tools to measure campaign effectiveness.
• Knowledge of email marketing strategies and tools.
• A passion for marketing with a willingness to learn and grow within the field.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
