The Work
The primary objective of the Senior Data Security Consultant role is to design, implement, and maintain robust data protection strategies across EQ Bank's digital ecosystem. This role ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of both structured and unstructured data by applying governance frameworks, access controls, classification standards, and retention policies By aligning data security initiatives with EQ Bank's strategic goals, such as digital innovation, regulatory compliance, and customer trust, the role plays a critical part in safeguarding sensitive information and enabling secure business operations. It supports the bank's transformation efforts by embedding security into cloud platforms, collaboration tools, and core banking systems Key outcomes include the successful deployment of security guidelines, enhancement of database protections, and enforcement of data retention standards. These achievements will strengthen EQ Bank's risk posture, improve operational resilience, and ensure adherence to industry regulations and best practices. The Core Responsibilities
