Quality Assurance Executive Haldirams UK is expanding, and we are now hiring a
Quality Assurance Executive
to support food safety, product quality, and compliance across our UK restaurant operations. This role is suitable for a hands-on QA professional with strong knowledge of food safety standards and the ability to train and guide restaurant teams. Quality Assurance Executive Key Responsibilities 1. Product Quality & Overseas Coordination Support quality checks on products received from overseas manufacturing plants. Review product labelling, specifications, and compliance for UK standards. Coordinate with Central QA teams for documentation, audits, and regulatory requirements. Assist with alignment to international standards including FDA/FSA guidelines. 2. Training & Development Deliver food safety & hygiene training to front-of-house and back-of-house teams. Conduct product knowledge sessions, menu launch training, and SOP refreshers. Train housekeeping staff on sanitation procedures and cleaning SOPs. Prepare training materials, visuals, and checklists to ensure consistency. 3. Quality Assurance, Audits & Compliance Carry out regular hygiene, safety, and compliance checks at restaurants. Perform product testing for taste, consistency, and quality. Identify gaps and support Corrective & Preventive Actions (CAPA). Assist with customer complaint investigation, RCA, and CAPA closure. Ensure adherence to HACCP Level 4 standards and UK food safety regulations. 4. Reporting & Documentation Maintain comprehensive training attendance logs and audit documents. Prepare site visit reports highlighting non-conformities and improvements. Work with Operations, QA, and R&D to drive continuous improvement. Qualifications & Skills Degree in
Food Technology, Food Science, Food Microbiology , or similar field. 35+ years of experience in QA within QSR, foodservice, or FMCG. HACCP Level 4 certification (mandatory). Lead Auditor certification (advantageous). Good understanding of UK food safety standards and allergen management. Strong communication and training skills. Ability to travel to multiple sites. Collaborative and supportive working style.
