Community Occupational Therapist

Are you looking to join a Team that provides strong mentorship and support? We would love to meet to discuss part-time and full-time opportunities that we are offering, with flexible schedules and a remote work option.

Part-time/Full-time options, 
Monday-Friday

Work Location:

1-Northhumberland County & surrounding areas

OR

2-Peterborough and surrounding areas

OR

3-Haliburton and surrounding areas

4-Waterloo-Wellington and surrounding areas

OR

5-Cornwall and surrounding areas

OR

6-Ottawa, Champlain and surrounding areas

7-Kingston and surrounding areas

***PLEASE NOTE THAT YOU MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO DO ASSESSMENTS IN THESE AREAS

We Offer:

  • Salary-$125,000-225,000
  • Part-time and Full-time Opportunities
  • Sign-on Bonus
  • Ongoing Support

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree of Occupational Therapy (Required)
  • ADP Authorizer is preferred but not required
  • Great communication skills – must be able to effectively communicate and think critically (both written and verbal skills)
  • Registration with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (must be in good standing)

Responsibilities:

  • Complete community assessments and implement an effective treatment plan for patients (Non-MVA files)
  • Ensure that all patients' needs are met
  • Collaborate with other team members and health care professionals when needed.
  • Documentation-charting to ensure excellent communication in a timely manner
  • Identify the need for any beneficial/assistive device for the patient – support with the coordination of the delivery and installation of these devices
