Overview
We are seeking a dependable and experienced Truck Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves transporting freight safely and efficiently across various routes, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, familiarity with heavy equipment, and a commitment to vehicle maintenance and safety protocols.

Duties

  • Operate commercial trucks to transport freight to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
  • Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed, ensuring proper handling and securement of cargo
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to identify maintenance needs or safety issues
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and other required documentation
  • Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle reliability
  • Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing freight shipments
  • Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents or damage during transit and loading activities

Experience

  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
  • Experience operating freight trucks and heavy equipment such as forklifts
  • Knowledge of freight handling procedures and safety regulations for commercial transportation
  • Prior experience with automotive repair or basic troubleshooting is a plus
  • Familiarity with route planning and navigation tools is preferred
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in various environments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.30-$25.00 per hour
