About
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various settings, ensuring adherence to established standards and protocols. As an LPN, you will play a crucial role in patient assessment, treatment, and education, working closely with registered nurses and physicians to deliver comprehensive care.
*Duties*
* Conduct patient assessments and assist in the development of individualized care plans.
* Perform routine nursing tasks including vital sign monitoring, medication administration, and wound care.
* Provide dementia care and support for patients with cognitive impairments.
* Assist in diagnostic evaluations and triage patients based on their medical needs.
* Implement infection control measures and maintain a clean and safe environment.
* Perform laboratory duties such as phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed.
* Collaborate with healthcare professionals in a Level I Trauma Center setting to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
* Educate patients and their families on health management, treatment plans, and preventive care.
* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
*Requirements*
* Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
* Strong knowledge of infection control standards and practices.
* Experience or training in internal medicine is preferred.
* Ability to perform sutures and other basic surgical procedures is a plus.
* Proficiency in laboratory procedures including phlebotomy is desirable.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
* Compassionate approach to patient care with strong interpersonal skills.
* Previous experience in triage or emergency care settings is advantageous.

Pay: $29.00 - $32.00 per hour
