Job Description:
We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Physiotherapist to join our dynamic, interdisciplinary team at Curate Health – a modern start-up clinic in Toronto. Our clinic is built on the principles of patient-centered care, environmental sustainability, and innovation in healthcare. We aim to transform the way health clinics are viewed, by offering a holistic range of services from medical, rehab, wellness, and fitness, to a fully integrated in-house health food cafe

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate and knowledgeable Physiotherapist who believes in empowering patients through evidence-based natural therapies and collaborative care. Here's a chance to be a part of a new wellness space that will be a first in Toronto

Responsibilities:

  • Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients' goals and needs
  • Provide hands-on manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to promote healing and pain relief
  • Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
  • Educate patients on self-management techniques, injury prevention, and home exercise programs
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient assessments, treatments, and progress

Why Join Our Team:

  • Competitive split remuneration (60/40).
  • Work in a green-friendly clinic with future B Corp certification in mind.
  • Flexibility in work hours, with options for virtual care.
  • Opportunity to customize your treatment room to fit your workflow.
  • Engage in monthly educational rounds with team discussions on cases, interventions, and health topics to encourage personal and professional growth.
  • A work culture that cares about the well-being of both practitioners and clients, with a professional exchange of services promoted within the team.
  • Brand-new facility equipped with modern technology, EMR, a training gym, health food bar, and a workflow optimized for integrative care.
  • Make a meaningful impact by helping patients and the community achieve their health goals in an eco-conscious, socially responsible clinic.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
  • Valid license to practice in Ontario
  • Valid Malpractice Insurance
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a physiotherapist, preferably in a clinic setting
  • Comprehensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics
  • Proficiency in assessing and diagnosing musculoskeletal conditions and injuries
  • Expertise in developing and implementing personalized treatment plans
  • Strong manual therapy skills, including joint mobilization, soft tissue release, and therapeutic exercises
  • Familiarity with modalities such as ultrasound, laser, combo, electrical stimulation, and heat/cold therapy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with patients, families, and health care professionals
  • Ability to educate and encourage patients in their recovery process
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems and documentation
  • Bonus: if trained in FST, Mulligan, Pelvic rehab, Dry needling, CSCS or other specialty techniques
