Job Description

Allied Universal is seeking Security Guards in Winnipeg, Manitoba 

 Job Title: Security Guard - Overnight

Job Location: Winnipeg Manitoba

Job Type:FullTime, Part Time

Shifts :

   Full Time: Monday to Friday - Overnight

   Part Time: Saturday and Sunday - Overnight

   Full Time, Rotational(12 hours per day):

Pay Rate: $ $16.50 per hour

Overview:
We are looking for diligent and reliable security guards to join our team for a site in Winnipeg Manitoba. The ideal candidate is someone with excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to ensuring a safe environment.

Requirement:

  • Valid Manitoba security guard license.
  • Display exceptional customer service and communication skills
  • Have intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
  • Experience with report writing and note-taking.
  • Must be eligible to work in Canada. 
  • First Aid and CPR
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct foot patrols of buildings and surrounding areas.
  • Monitor and report suspicious activities and persons.
  • Prevent and detect thefts or vandalism.
  • Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily logs.
  • Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.
  • Use radios and cell phones to communicate with team members.
  • Follow emergency procedures and respond to alarms.
  • Ensure safety and security protocols are upheld.
