Work Schedule
- 4 days per week, with flexibility for occasional additional shifts on Friday
- Days and hours can be discussed during the interview to fit mutual availability
About Us
Greenboro Dental is a friendly, patient-centered clinic located in the heart of Ottawa. We're dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality dental care in a supportive team environment. We are currently seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols
- Assist the dentist during procedures including fillings, crowns, extractions, and hygiene appointments
- Take and develop dental X-rays
- Record medical and dental histories and treatment plans
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-op care
- Maintain stock levels and manage inventory
- Ensure a clean and organized clinical environment
- Provide general support to front desk when needed
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant Level I or II certification (HARP certified preferred)
- Experience in a clinical dental setting preferred but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of dental software (e.g., Curve or Abeldent) is an asset
- Bilingual (English/French) is a plus
