Position Summary
The Mobile Supervisor – Security plays a critical role in ensuring operational continuity and service excellence across all IGI security sites. This position requires a highly flexible and responsive individual who can work evenings, weekends, and holidays—particularly during periods when the Security Scheduler and Operations Support team are unavailable. The Mobile Supervisor will be on the road, responding to urgent coverage needs, conducting site visits, and supporting frontline staff while maintaining a strong customer service focus. A company vehicle is provided.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Deliver refresher training and onboarding support to new hires in the field.
- Reinforce company policies, procedures, and client expectations during site visits.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain accurate records of site visits, incidents, and corrective actions.
- Submit daily activity reports and escalate urgent matters in real time.
Shift Coverage & Response
- Respond to last-minute shift change requests and coverage gaps, especially during evenings and weekends.
- Ensure all morning shifts are staffed by proactively managing overnight and early-morning scheduling issues.
- Act as the primary point of contact for urgent operational matters outside of regular office hours.
Site Supervision & Support
- Conduct regular and unannounced site visits to assess performance, morale, and compliance.
- Provide on-the-spot coaching and support to guards and site supervisors.
- Identify, escalate performance and report issues to management.
Security Patrol Duties
- Maintain a highly visible and reassuring presence through patrol and post duties.
- Enforce access control procedures and assist with signing in vehicles at shipping & receiving.
- Work with emergency response teams to report irregularities and ensure safety.
- Conduct fire watches and other area checks.
- Write detailed incident reports for all emergency and day-to-day activities.
Requirements
- Minimum one year of general security experience preferred.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License (must comply with PSISA regulations).
- Valid Ontario driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Current CPR and First Aid Certificates preferred.
- A diploma in Security or a related field is preferred.
- Working knowledge of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and emergency procedures.
- Superior communication skills, excellent judgment, and decision-making ability.
- Ability to work independently, proactively, and resourcefully.
- Must be flexible and available for off-duty emergency calls and communications.
- Must pass a criminal background check.

Pay: $19.00-$23.00 per hour
